21 April 2010 - Public Sector Group (formerly Local Government Group) - Meeting

The Public Sector Group met on Wednesday 21st April 2010 at the Westminster Archives Centre. The meeting was sponsored by TNT Business Solutions. The theme of the day was Records Management into the 21st Century. The day included a presentation on retention schedules and the LGCRS by Elizabeth Barber (Kent County Council), a presentation by the sponsors and discussion groups on performance indicators and how to choose an external storage supplier. The feedback received from the discussion groups will be used to create guidance on performance indicator and a toolkit for choosing an external supplier which will be made available via the RMS web site in the future.
