LGG Meeting - 8 February 2008

The Local Government Group met on February 8th 2008 at the Westminster Archives Centre. The theme for the day was the Freedom of Information Section 46 workbook and the Information Governance Toolkit.

The keynote speaker for the day was Richard Blake from The National Archives who developed the Section 46 workbook. His presentation and a draft evaluation tool are available below (the final version will be available via The National Archives website shortly.

This was followed by a presentation from Danny Budzak who was instrumental in the development of the information governance toolkit. Danny's presentation is available below. The afternoon took the form of a discussion and some practical case studies from Alison Drew (Portsmouth City Council) whose presentation is below and Sandra Town from Kent County Council about the use of the different toolkits. A full report of the meeting will appear in the RMS Bulletin.
