Paul Dodgson

Paul Dodgson is Business Partner, Information Management at Leicestershire County Council, responsible for Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Records Management.

Paul was a member of the RMS local government group which has devised the Local Government Classification Schema (LGCS) and is now lead Director for its development and that of the LGG Retention Schedule. Paul is the author of Myth, Mystery or Methodology - an article examining the use of Records Management methodologies to support the development of Electronic Records Management. He is the Secretary of the Midlands and Leicestershire Information Management Groups and is the Chair of the ESD Toolkit Controlled Lists. Paul is particularly keen on developing a single view of the tryth, developing business solutions which are single source centric.

For the RMS Paul is keen to see more member accessible products and hopes to see the Society grow as an independent entity over coming years.
