Alf Michaelsen, Venture Information Management Ltd
Originally from Stavanger, Norway, Alf now works in Aberdeen as Principal Consultant for Venture Information Management Ltd.
Prior to Alf's engagement with Venture Information Management Ltd., in October 2007, he worked for large international matrix organisations, such as ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, and BP etc., for more than 15 years, primarily in a Document / Information / Knowledge / Records Management function and in several international locations.
Before working within the Oil & Gas Operations field, Alf worked with Document Management on several projects, including BP Bruce Project in the UK, BP Gyda and Ula Projects in Norway and on the turning operation of the Alexander Kielland Drilling Rig after its tragic capsize in 1980.
