Mr. Ferguson is a managing director at Mesirow Financial Consulting. He serves as the national co-leader of the firms Technology Advisory Services practice and is responsible for business development activities with respect to complex data analytics, electronic discovery, business intelligence design and analysis, and litigation preparedness services offerings. Mr. Ferguson has extensive experience providing litigation consulting services. His investigative, litigation and consulting experience includes creating market awareness and thought-leadership around the application of true data analytics to the legal market.
Mr. Ferguson’s areas of expertise include electronic discovery and discovery management, transactional database design and management, complex data modelling, client-server and multi-tiered database design and implementation, process mapping and engineering, large-scale data conversion, process driven custom software development and implementation, claims management and administration, workgroup and enterprise networking, and document imaging systems. His litigation experience includes implementing statistical sampling; preparing attorney work product and providing trial exhibit compilations; supporting and giving expert witness testimony and developing data and other document retrieval systems.
Mr. Ferguson has provided advisory services to corporations and governments regarding all aspects of criminal and regulatory enforcement matters, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML). In prior positions, Mr. Ferguson provided business process analysis and improvement; overall technology assessments and general law department / law firm management and strategy improvement.
