Stephen Macintosh, Dubai Municipality
Stephen Macintosh is a professional recordkeeper with some 11 years experience. He has designed and implemented recordkeeping systems and tools for local, state, federal and international organisations. In particular, Stephen has used DIRKS methodology, and has written several articles outlining his experiences. Stephen also has a strong interest in ensuring best practice recordkeeping is understood, practiced and disseminated throughout the world.
His current position, Specialist Recordkeeper at Dubai Municipality, has provided a great opportunity to reflect on, and learn about, recordkeeping in the Middle East. He has also been able to see some of the challenges associated with trying to use ISO 15489 and DIRKS in the Middle East. Stephen looks forward to sharing his findings in what promises to be a very interesting workshop.
