Freedom of Information: Round Up of The Latest Decisions
More than five years after the Freedom of Information Act 2000 came into force, it is still creating headlines and headaches. Every month there are approximately forty decisions of the Information Commissioner and ten of the Information Tribunal under the Act. Cases have even gone up all the way to the Supreme Court. The last three months have seen further clarification on disclosure of statistics, personal data, commercially sensitive information and staff bonuses; to name just a few. In this session, Ibrahim Hasan will be giving his unique insight into the latest decisions and how they affect the work of records and information professionals.
