Gaining User Buy In

Conference 2009 S05 - Monday 10.30-11.20

Gaining User Buy In

Part 1 - Pants, Socks and Pyjamas
Part 2 - Reaping what you sow!

How to you get successful user buy in? Generating enthusiasm for records management throughout your organisation poses the biggest challenge and the greatest obstacle in a time of change. This double-headed presentation will demonstrate in a lively and very different way how Wiltshire County Council have approached this challenge successfully. The benefits of the change of culture are helping to underpin the transformation for the authority which is undergoing a massive change in becoming one unitary authority in April 2009. But what are the benefits? "Reaping what you sow", the second part of this presentation outlines the real benefits and efficiencies achieved through the initial program of work and how Wiltshire have realised them.

Presentation Warning: - If you need to make notes, please bring a pen and paper as this presentation is visually orientated with bullet points kept to a minimum!!!
