Conference Theme 2009: Back to the Future?

The 2009 Conference title, “Back to the Future?” reflects the current challenges faced by our delegates, their organisations and the Records Management profession itself. Security, integrity, accessibility … few deny these fundamental principles of good records and information management, but can we continue to rely on our traditional approaches, skills set and mind set in a world that is so changed from the one in which these traditions were established?

Our conference will provide a platform for members of the RMS and the wider IM practitioner and supplier community to come together to address this fundamental question and the challenges that have prompted it, within the framework of the four key themes.
