Annual Pay Date
The Records Management Society is delighted to launch a move towards an annual pay date for membership subscriptions. Up until now the payment date for subscription fees is dependent on when a member joins. This calendar of payments brings with it heavy administrative organisation in relation to the management of the dates and the sending out of invoices on an almost weekly basis.
From 1st July 2009, both new members and renewing members will receive an invoice for part of the year i.e. July 2009 membership date will mean that you will pay for 5/12 of the membership fee for 2009 and your next annual fee will commence on 1st January 2010.
The application form for new members will display your membership fee due depending on the month you are applying for membership. To keep the process simple, each membership month is considered to end on the last day of the month and your membership is considered to be made at the moment you submit your application form.
All renewing members will receive their invoice for payment through to 31st December, in the month the fees are due for renewal.
